Wander Beyond Campervan Hire is a small family run business based in Chester, Cheshire. Situated in Chester, one of Britain’s most popular places for unforgettable short breaks and just a few miles from the North Wales border makes us an ideal location to start your campervan adventure. 
Discover the mountains of Snowdonia and The Lake District, or the coast of North Wales in one of our fabulous VW campervans. We love campervans and are passionate about getting off the beaten track and exploring our great country.

Our campervans are modern vehicles with plenty of extras for your comfort, we also welcome well behaved dogs, after all, they are part of the family and why should they miss out on the adventure!

We hired Mary Jayne for a week in September. The Wander Beyond team were very professional and made sure the van was prepared to a high standard. The team took the time to explain the working of the van. Unfortunately one of the gas hobs were not working but luckily we took our own camping stove with us. Wander Beyond are exactly as advertised. All in all a good experience was had.

Cameron made booking and ordering extras very easy and answered all questions promptly, and James was excellent on handovers showing me exactly how to operate thing like the pop top roof and the bed. We took the T6 van for a week and the van had everything you could want and was kitted out to a very high specification. Loved it!

Had a great week in Scotland after hiring Mary Jane from Wander beyond. Comprehensive hand over from Cameron so that we had no problems setting up when we got to our campsite late on the first day. The van drives nicely and is really quite good on fuel. We did a lot of miles in a week and it didnt miss a beat. It's more comfortable than you might think and although it was a little squashed with 2 of us + a 1 year old we managed. In summary we had a great week. Thanks Cameron.

What a fantastic small local company. We hired Eleanor (T6) for a week. Communication was brilliant from start to finish mainly by email but we could have phoned if we wanted to. We picked up the campervan and James gave us a tour around it showing us how things worked, This took about 30 mins and we where on the road by 1130. Nice and easy to drive and set up once at a location and plenty of room. we spend 4 night - 2 adults and then the rest of the week with 2 kids, The pop up roof bed was really comfortable to sleep on and the kids also loved sleeping up there. on return yet again James was really friendly and gave the van a check over and the bond was returned within 24 hours. Anybody wanting to hire a campervan in the Chester area I would definitely recommend Wander Beyond. Thanks for a great week..

We have just returned from a week away in 'Black Beauty' doing a little tour of Scotland. Cam made the booking process easy and James made the handover easy and straight forward. They were on hand with any questions we had as this was our 1st time campervanning. Black Beauty was kitted out well and we had everything we needed ( we had extras that you could hire out, Awning, Electric camp shower, Toilet etc) Although we didn't use the awning due to not staying in one place long enough. I'm sure it would be an excellent addition to the footprint of the van. Highly recommend the company and glad we could support a local compamy
